Canterbury Volleyball Earns AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll Distinction For Immediate Release Fort Wayne, Ind. — Canterbury High School is proud to announce that its Girls Volleyball program has been recognized among the top 20 percent of high school volleyball teams in the nation for academic excellence. The Cavaliers earned the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award and the prestigious AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll distinction, recognizing the team's outstanding commitment to excellence both in the classroom and on the court. Presented by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), the Team Academic Award honors volleyball programs that demonstrate a strong commitment to academic excellence. The Team Academic Honor Roll distinction recognizes teams that rank among the top 20 percent of team GPAs nationally within their division. “I am incredibly proud to celebrate last season’s team for earning AVCA Honor Roll recognition and placing among the top 20 percent of high school programs nationwide,” said LeAnne Gibbs Wyss, Canterbury’s Head Volleyball Coach. “This achievement belongs to those athletes and reflects the discipline, dedication, and excellence they demonstrated as students while representing Canterbury Volleyball.” This recognition highlights the commitment Canterbury student-athletes bring to both their academic and athletic pursuits.
